About

Nitin

Nitin is responsible for leading We.’s continued growth across Asia, including oversight of client relations, business development, and global partnerships, as well as the agency’s expanding specialty expertise in government and public affairs across APAC. He is also a member of the We. Global Executive Team.

Prior to his current role, Nitin was managing director for We. APAC and group CEO of Avian We., where he played an instrumental role in transforming the Delhi-based startup into one of India’s leading public relations firms, expanding its presence nationwide and growing its workforce forty-fold. He attributes his success in winning clients for life to his belief that authenticity, bold thinking and relentless excellence build partnerships that endure.

Before joining Avian We., he led U.K. operations at Brodeur/Pleon (now Ketchum), managing its corporate and technology B2B practices.

Beyond agency leadership, Nitin has played a pivotal role in advancing the public relations profession globally. He currently serves as chair of PRCA’s Global Advisory Board and co-chair of PRCA Asia Pacific. He was the first Asian to serve as president of ICCO (2019-2022), driving the industry’s global agenda, and he led PRCA India as president from 2015 to 2020, strengthening the industry’s standing in India. In addition, he teaches mass communications at prominent colleges and serves on the advisory board of the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe).

Nitin has been honored with the Outstanding Contribution Award by PRCA Asia Pacific and inducted into the ICCO Hall of Fame for his leadership and impact. His accolades also include the Provoke News Individual Achievement SABRE Award and ICCO’s Global PR Leader of the Year Award.
