PRCA APAC executive panl of We. Future of Communications report

Communications is no longer just about storytelling — it’s about foresight, trust and tech fluency. That was the takeaway at an executive briefing in Kuala Lumpur hosted by PRCA APAC and We. Communications, where senior comms leaders unpacked findings from “The Future of Communications” report.

Moderated by We.’s International Head of Integrated Marketing Nichole Provatas, the panel, which included Chase Advisors’ Malaysia Managing Director Kanesan Veluppillai, tackled Southeast Asia’s evolving landscape — from the rise of hyperlocal narratives to AI’s disruption of media and influence. To stay ahead, brands must shift from reactive to anticipatory strategies and rethink how they earn relevance with Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

As misinformation rises, the room agreed: Clarity and cultural fluency are now nonnegotiable.
