Prepared pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015
We. Communications is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and human rights across all aspects of our operations and supply chains. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, and child labor, as defined under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This commitment applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, agents, partners, and any other entity or individual with whom we engage or conduct business. We recognize our responsibility to identify, prevent, and mitigate risks of exploitation and ensure that our business practices reflect our values of fairness, respect, and accountability.
To achieve this, we implement robust measures including supplier due diligence, contractual obligations requiring compliance with anti-slavery laws, and regular risk assessments of our global supply chain. We provide mandatory training for employees involved in procurement and supplier management to help them identify and address potential risks. We maintain clear reporting channels, including a confidential whistleblower hotline, and enforce anti-retaliation measures to protect those who raise concerns. Our compliance team monitors adherence to these standards and takes corrective action where necessary, ensuring continuous improvement and transparency in our efforts to combat modern slavery.
We. Communications is a global professional services agency delivering strategic communications, reputation management, and integrated marketing solutions to clients worldwide. We operate across North America, EMEA, and APAC, employing approximately 1300 professionals who work collaboratively to provide advisory services that influence public perception and corporate reputation.
Our commitment to ethical business practices is embedded in our Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy. These policies collectively ensure that we uphold the highest standards of integrity and respect for human rights across all operations.
We maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward modern slavery and human trafficking. We explicitly prohibit any form of slavery, as defined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015, by employees, subcontractors, contractors, agents, partners, or any other organization, entity, or individual with whom we engage or do business.
Our approach to human rights aligns with internationally recognized standards. We are participants in the Human Rights Campaign based on our commitment and activities to support LGBTQ+ rights. We support and are aligned with frameworks such as UN Global Compact and the International Labour Organization conventions.
We encourage transparency and accountability throughout our organization and supply chain. Employees, suppliers, and partners are provided with multiple channels to report concerns, including direct access to management, legal and compliance teams, a confidential whistleblower hotline, and local authorities where appropriate.
Our supply chain primarily consists of professional services subcontractors, technology and software providers, office facilities suppliers, and travel vendors. While most of our suppliers operate in low-risk jurisdictions, we recognize that global operations can present vulnerabilities.
We conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern within our supply chain, focusing on geographic regions and service categories that may pose higher risks. Our supplier contracts include explicit requirements for compliance with anti-slavery laws, and we implement due diligence checks during onboarding and periodic audits. If risks are discovered, we will work with supply chain partners to mitigate risk. We will cease business completely if risks are unable to be mitigated.
We are committed to having no forced or bonded labor across our global operations and supply chain. This includes enhancing transparency in our supply chain, collaborating with industry initiatives, continuous improvement in combating modern slavery, and adopting best practices to prevent exploitation.
All employees globally receive training on our Code of Conduct and Modern Slavery awareness, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and can identify potential risks. Specialized training is provided to procurement and supplier management teams.
This statement has been reviewed by senior compliance management and reflects our ongoing commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
