The role of public relations has been changing for years. What feels different now is how visible that change has become.

You can see it in almost any leadership conversation. A business update quickly becomes a policy question. A technology plan opens into AI, jobs, privacy and trust. A market expansion brings in geopolitics, regulation and local sentiment. Even a consumer campaign now has to contend with culture, creators, employees, activists and algorithms. And a crisis is no longer just a crisis. It becomes a test of values, preparedness and leadership.
