AI and Communications: Building a Strategic Partnership

Background

Zscaler’s global communications team needed practical ways to integrate AI into daily workflows. With PR leads managing their regions solo, facing heavy workloads with little time to explore AI tools, they turned to We.’s AI Accelerator solution to deliver a tailored training program that builds skills, confidence and momentum for long-term adoption.

The Approach: Training Tailored for Every Learner

To match the team’s diverse skills and specialties, We. created AI Literacy Profiles from individual interviews and designed two interactive workshops supported by intersession exercises and one-on-one follow-ups. The curriculum, tailored for experience levels ranging from minimal exposure to daily users, blended practical exercises with mindset shifts to position AI as a strategic partner in communications.

The Impact: Confidence, Momentum and Lasting Change

The program sparked immediate adoption, equipping the team with practical AI skills and confidence to use them daily. Feedback highlighted the relevance and quality of delivery, with demand for advanced sessions and 1:1 coaching. Beyond skills, the training shifted perceptions: AI is now seen as a strategic enabler for communications at Zscaler.

The AI Academy training gave our team practical AI skills, the confidence to use them and the momentum to keep advancing.
