LONDON — November 6, 2025 — We. Communications is strengthening its UK leadership team and expanding its client roster as it enters a new era of growth.

Following the full integration of Hopscotch (now We.’s dedicated social impact team) earlier this year, the agency has reorganised key leadership roles to deliver sharper, more connected solutions across sectors and services:

  • Ben Fisher takes on the newly created role of Head of Sectors, uniting the technology and health teams with a focus on expanding capabilities to service the fast-emerging health-tech space. He reports to Laura Gillen, UK Managing Director.
  • Kemi Akindele, previously Head of Corporate Reputation and Brand Purpose, becomes Head of Corporate & Services, overseeing corporate communications, We. Studio, and proprietary offerings such as Reputation Forecast. She also reports to Gillen.
  • Mirelle Hadad is now the UK We. Studio Lead, expanding the team’s channel strategy, analytics and creator-driven content under Akindele’s leadership.
  • Daniel Blank moves into the role of Head of EMEA Digital Innovation, leading new solutions from We. spanning AI to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), reporting to Stephanie Marchesi, We.’s EMEA President.

“Today’s brand challenges rarely fit neatly into one box,” said Gillen. “Whether it’s medtech companies shaping the future of care, tech giants managing corporate reputation, or NGOs engaging youth audiences, success happens where disciplines intersect and turn complexity into clarity. Our refreshed structure brings together sector depth and specialist expertise to deliver smarter, more integrated solutions for clients.”

New Client Partnerships

These changes follow the appointment of Harman International, which selected We. Communications after a competitive pitch to support its Lifestyle division. The retained corporate global brief — led out of the UK office — spans strategic counsel, executive communications, LLM search, the Audio Talks podcast and JBL’s 80th anniversary celebrations.

Carole Campbell, Executive Director of Global Communications, Lifestyle at Harman International, said:

“As a global leader in audio, it’s important that our corporate story reflects both our heritage and our innovation. We. Communications stood out for combining global scale with deep corporate expertise. Their professionalism, sector knowledge and understanding of our business gave us confidence that they could deliver impact.”

Additionally, Microsoft has expanded its international analyst relations work with We. across EMEA and APAC, and following its 2024 appointment as retained corporate communications agency, Sungrow has expanded its work with We. to include a retained social media remit for Sungrow’s operations in Europe.
